Specialist legal expertise
The Specialist Accreditation Scheme is operated by The Law Society of NSW to help the general public identify solicitors who have demonstrated proficiency in a particular area of law.
To gain specialist accreditation a solicitor must have:
- practised full-time for at least five years
- worked in their area of speciality for at least three years, and
- passed rigorous assessments in communication, problem solving, client relations and of course, the law.
The Burke & Mead Lawyers team currently includes one Accredited Specialist, Emma Mead, Accredited Specialist Personal Injury Law
“I would like to thank Burke and Mead Lawyers for doing an excellent job dealing with our son’s case. The Criminal Lawyer was very professional throughout the case and was easily accessible; always getting back to us whenever we had questions or worries. We were so happy with the lawyer’s performance in this case. The lawyer even suggested that we meet at the office and walk to the court together. This made us feel much more relaxed at this difficult time, particularly as we had never been to court before. We would definitely recommend Burke and Mead Lawyers and would have no hesitation in using your services again should the need arise. Thank you.”
